Description

Handling The Premium Portion of Overtime: To include in or exclude from the Direct Labor Base, that is the question

Session Description:

The treatment of the premium portion of overtime pay remains a question for many A/E firms. In this session, we’ll tackle the ever-present question: should the premium portion of overtime be included in your direct labor base or removed from it? We’ll dive into established A/E policies and procedures, and accounting system set up and how these decisions impact cost recovery. We will discuss the latest interpretations by auditors and state DOTs.  Bring your questions, insights, and challenges as we navigate this complex issue together.
