Join the ACEC Georgia Land Development Coalition will host Tams Mullins, Machine Control Manager with Plateau Excavation. Plateau is one of the Southeast's premier grading contractors, capable of delivering projects up to 2,000 acres. Specializing in large-scale site development, Plateau utilizes a fleet of approximately 1,400 pieces of grading equipment to manage some the region's largest and most complex sites.
Tams oversees machine-control data complication for the fleet, converting engineer-provided CAD files into the field-ready data required by the equipment. During this, he will walk the committee through the process of transforming design data into the usable formats that guide Plateau's grading operations.
The ACEC Georgia Land Development Coalition is chaired by Dan Wintermeyer with VHB and meets on a quarterly basis. This forum is designed to bring together land development professionals to discuss common challenges to their unique business issues, potential solutions, and how ACEC Georgia might engage to address those concerns.
