Join ACEC Georgia and guest speaker, Simon Goodhead, Principal of Goodhead Strategies, for a webinar on Strengthening Business by Finding the Right Questions. 

We do not know what we do not know. Asking the right question can be hard, which is why this session will embrace the philosophy that knowing the answer is not the answer. We first seek to understand the situation and problem before establishing a path to resolution.

Engineers thrive on technical excellence. Sustaining a practice, however, requires strategic foresight and business resilience. This session will help firm leaders navigate opportunities, transitions, and financial success in what might be a moving and fluid practice, or stagnant and evolution challenged.

During the session, we will look at the critical moments in practice management, including:

  • Strategic planning and execution
  • Leadership development and succession planning
  • Mergers & acquisitions decision making
  • Practice enhancement and operational improvement


Attendees will learn the following:

  • Execution planning for strategic plans and the ratio of success
  • How to recognize leadership potential and why the "next in line" isn't always the right choice.
  • What can happen when handling M&A offers and conversations (and what to expect)
  • How to seek the questions to ask when looking for practice enhancement and business performance.
