Join the ACEC Georgia Young Professionals Network (YPN) for an Off the Clock event in Savannah—an opportunity designed to help you build meaningful connections, grow your professional network, and engage more deeply with Georgia’s engineering community.

This event creates a relaxed, peer-focused environment where young professionals (35 and under) can connect with others at a similar stage in their careers—making it easier to form authentic relationships, exchange ideas, and expand your network with confidence.

You’ll also gain insight into how ACEC Georgia supports your career growth through leadership opportunities, industry engagement, and pathways to get more involved—while connecting directly with Junior Board members who are there to help you plug in and take the next step.

All of this takes place at one of Savannah’s most popular outdoor venues—offering the perfect setting to build connections, strengthen relationships, and enjoy the energy of the city with your peers.

Starland Yard – The Perfect off-the-clock Setting

Located in Savannah’s creative Starland District, Starland Yard is more than just a bar—it’s one of the city’s most unique social hubs, designed for connection, conversation, and a great night out.

Originally built from repurposed shipping containers, the space has a distinctive, industrial-meets-outdoor vibe that reflects Savannah’s port heritage while creating a laid-back, energetic atmosphere.

At its core, Starland Yard is a vibrant outdoor food park and beer garden, featuring:

  • A full-service bar with craft beer, cocktails, wine, and frozen drinks
  • A mix of permanent kitchens (including a popular Neapolitan-style pizzeria)
  • A rotating lineup of local food trucks, offering something for everyone
