Join ACEC Georgia and AIA Atlanta for a Webinar on Management and Employment Practices Risk for Design Firms. 

This session examines the management and employment practices liability exposures that many A&E firms are underinsured for regardless of size, including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and the personal liability directors and officers carry in their roles. Co-presented with an employment practices attorney, the session brings both the legal and insurance perspectives to the same stage and gives attendees a practical framework for assessing and addressing their exposure.


Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the most common employment practices claims and what triggers them in a design firm context
  •  Identify when directors and officers are personally exposed and what D&O coverage does and does not protect
  • Distinguish what EPL and D&O insurance covers versus where gaps are likely to exist
  • Evaluate your firm's current employment practices and governance controls against underwriting standards
  •  Apply three concrete actions to improve your firm's risk posture immediately
